Thank you for using Matome Post ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Matome Post, a Windows desktop application for posting content to multiple social media platforms.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information solely to operate the App's core functionality:

• OAuth Access Tokens: When you connect your social media accounts (TikTok, Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Threads, LINE), the App stores OAuth access tokens locally on your device to authenticate API requests on your behalf.
• Post Content: Text, images, and videos you compose within the App are processed locally on your device and sent directly to the social media platform APIs.
• App Settings: Your preferences and configuration data are stored locally on your device.

We do not collect any personally identifiable information on our servers. All data remains on your local device.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information collected is used exclusively to:

• Authenticate your social media accounts via their respective official APIs.
• Publish content to your connected social media accounts at your request.
• Save your settings and account configurations for your convenience.

3. Third-Party Social Media APIs

The App integrates with the following social media platforms via their official APIs to publish content on your behalf. Access tokens for each platform are stored only on your local device and are never transmitted to our servers. Your use of each platform is also subject to its respective terms of service and privacy policy.

• TikTok (TikTok Pte. Ltd.): Uses the TikTok for Developers API to upload videos and content, and to access profile information as required by the API. Privacy Policy
• Instagram (Meta Platforms, Inc.): Uses the Instagram Graph API to upload images and videos, and to retrieve account information. Privacy Policy
• X (Twitter) (X Corp.): Uses the X API to create posts and upload media. Privacy Policy
• Facebook (Meta Platforms, Inc.): Uses the Facebook Graph API to publish to Facebook Pages and retrieve page information. Privacy Policy
• YouTube (Google LLC): Uses the YouTube Data API to upload videos and retrieve channel information. Privacy Policy
• Threads (Meta Platforms, Inc.): Uses the Threads API to create posts and retrieve account information. Privacy Policy
• LINE (LY Corporation): Uses the LINE Messaging API / LINE Login to deliver messages and retrieve profile information. Privacy Policy

4. Data Storage and Security

All data processed by Matome Post — including OAuth tokens, post content, and settings — is stored locally on your Windows device. We do not operate any servers that receive, store, or process your personal data.

We implement standard Windows application security practices to protect locally stored data. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your information to third parties. Your content is transmitted only to the social media platforms you have explicitly chosen to post to.

6. Data Retention

Data is retained locally on your device for as long as you use the App. You may delete all App data at any time by uninstalling the application or clearing the App's data folder.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
