These Terms of Service (hereinafter, the "Terms") set forth the conditions of use for the Windows desktop application Matome Post (hereinafter, the "App"). By installing or using the App, the user is deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using the App, the user is deemed to be at least 13 years of age and to agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.
Description of Service
Matome Post is a Windows desktop application that allows users to compose and post content simultaneously to social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, YouTube, Threads, and LINE through each service's official API.
User Responsibilities
By using the App, the user agrees to the following:
- To use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- To comply with the terms of service and community guidelines of each social media platform to which content is posted.
- To safely manage, at the user's own responsibility, the device used and the credentials of social media accounts.
- To take full responsibility for all content posted through the App.
- To have obtained all necessary rights and permissions for any content (images, videos, music, etc.) that is posted.
Compliance with TikTok API Terms
When using the TikTok integration, the user must comply with the TikTok Terms of Service and the TikTok for Developers Terms. Specifically, the user agrees not to use the TikTok integration for any of the following purposes:
- To post content that violates TikTok's Community Guidelines.
- To engage in spam, automated mass posting, or other prohibited behaviors.
- To attempt to circumvent TikTok platform restrictions or rate limits.
Prohibited Conduct
The user may not use the App for any of the following purposes:
- Posting illegal, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or rights-infringing content.
- Impersonating another person or entity.
- Harassment, spam, or other nuisance behavior.
- Attempting unauthorized access to any system or network.
- Violating any applicable laws, regulations, or ordinances.
Intellectual Property
All rights to Matome Post and its original content, design, and code belong to the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Rights to content created and posted by users through the App are reserved to the users themselves.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of Matome Post shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to errors during content posting, data loss, or issues with accounts on third-party platforms.
Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party social media platforms through their official APIs. We bear no responsibility for the availability, content, privacy practices, or terms of these platforms. Use of each platform is subject to its own terms of service.
Termination of Use
The user may end use of the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to the App if a user violates these Terms.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Modifications will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after such modification will be deemed acceptance of the modified Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
